Individual Food and Wine Tour - 7 Days |
1° day – Individual arrival in
Florence and check in a booked hotel or italian family or Chianti
region apparthotel. Lunch at leisure. In the afternoon free time
for shopping, relaxing at hotel swimming pool or discovering the
city. Unforgettable chocolate dinner in one famous restaurant on
its big terrace with a wonderful view of Florence.

2° day – Breakfast. Sightseeing of Florence
with a walking tour in San Lorenzo food market, enjoying the beautiful
color and tastes of Italy. Lunch at leisure.
The rest of the afternoon is dedicated to a guided visit of Florence
– the gem of the Renaissance. The historic center of Florence
is a splendid mix of white, green and pink marble whose streets and
palaces reveal the passage from Medieval to Renaissance times. The
visit includes the Cathedral, the symbol of power in 13th and 14th
centuries; the civic heart of the city the Piazza della Signoria;
the outdoor sculptures in the Loggia dei Lanzi; the Ponte Vecchio,
which as its name suggests is the oldest bridge of the city. Dinner
in a characteristic florentine restaturant.

3° day - Breakfast in hotel, departure for the
region of Chianti. Arrival at Castello Il Palagio, visit of the
castle and its wine cellars. At lunch wine tasting accompanied by
typical tuscan products. In the afternoon visit and wine-tasting
in another winery in the Chianti region. Dinner at leisure.

4° day – Breakfast. You are ready for an
interesting cooking class to learn all the secrets about italian
cuisine. The lesson will last all the morning after which you’ll
eat the delicious food you’ve prepared. Free afternoon. Dinner
at leisure.

5° day – Breakfast.
Departure for Pienza, a nice village, home of the famous pecorino
di Pienza. Visit of one of a Pienza’s cheese factory to know
how the famous pecorino is made. Tasting at lunch. In the first
afternoon departure for Castello di Banfi in Montalcino where is
made the wonderful and famous wine Brunello. Guided visit of the
cellar and of the Glass Musuem where are exibited the world’s
largest private collection of ancient Rome glassware. Dinner in
the fabolous restaurant in the castle with a suggestive views of
the tuscan hillside and an interior with hand-painted walls of vineyards
trellising. A memorable dining experience!

6°
day - Breakfast. Departure for the city of “Palio”,
where we’ll visit “Piazza del Campo”, one
of the most beautiful medieval square, of a big scenographic
effect, that has always be the centre of Siena’s civil
life. It has a very particular shape, as a shell’s valve,
and it is surrounded by the Public Palace with its Tower of
Mangia, and by many others embattled and turreted palaces.
We’ll visit also the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful
Gothic creation of Italian architecture.
Lunch in a restaurant in Siena with a very particular medieval
menu. During the coming back stop on San Gimignano, beautiful
medieval village in the Tuscan hills, for a guided tour.

dedicated to improve your cooking skills. Enjoy your lunch. Free time.

8° day – Breakfast. End of the tour
and departure for your destination. |
